Liverpool a ‘plausible option’ for ‘world-class’ Euro 2024 midfielder
Liverpool are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window as they look to bolster their ranks in Arne Slot’s maiden season at Anfield.
The Reds had to settle for just the Carabao Cup last season after also being firmly in the picture for the Premier League title, the FA Cup and the Europa League.
Liverpool’s hierarchy will be eager to give Slot all the tools he needs to ensure he can hit the ground running as Jurgen Klopp’s replacement.
With Liverpool having bid farewell to Thiago Alcantara after his contract expired, there’s scope for the Reds to look at some replacements.
Now, a report from Italy has deemed Liverpool a ‘plausible option’ for one of the most highly sought-after free transfers on the market this summer.
