Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s names were barely mentioned as Klopp’s side strolled home to a 4-0 win on the south coast.

Liverpool excelled all over the pitch, with Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez producing lethal displays up top.

Moreover, youngster Conor Bradley also deserved a ton of praise for his enthusiasm on the right.

However, it was the man of the match Diogo Jota who impressed Glen Murray the most for Liverpool.

Murray was covering the game for and could barely stop complimenting the Portuguese forward.

Liverpool’s Diogo Jota sent a clear message to Jurgen Klopp with Bournemouth showing

Murray stated that Jota was ultimately the difference between the two sides, reserving particular praise for his finishing.

He said: “It’s a really clever finish, he’s a clever player in all fairness, he’s a special player.

“He’s a little magician isn’t he? You see in his celebration in front of the Bournemouth fans.

“I just think that everyone expects you to go across the goalkeeper there.

“And I think Neto just maybe got his angles slightly wrong, expecting that to happen, he puts it in that near post and it looks like this game could be dead and buried because Liverpool have been very good this evening.”

Murrway went on to add: “Diogo Jota is the difference between the two teams. He assisted one and he’s now scored.

“It’s a brilliant move from Liverpool.”

Mohamed Salah hasn’t been missed so far

Tonight’s 4-0 win means that Jurgen Klopp’s side have maintained their run of wins since Salah left for AFCON.

Any side would miss Salah, but players like Jota have really stepped up for Liverpool and Klopp as we saw against Bournemouth today.

Darwin Nunez’s performance shouldn’t be understated, he is often the catalyst for Liverpool stepping up their attacking play.

But with Cody Gakpo also looking dangerous off the bench today – things are looking positive.

Opposition fans hoping for a Liverpool slump early in the new year with the players they’ve lost may be waiting a while.

And whilst he picked up the man of the match award, Diogo Jota was full of praise for one Liverpool youngster
