Messi is not the first high-profile football figure to praise Aouar – Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola previously told about him: “He is incredible. He’s always very calm with the ball at his feet, with an excellent technical quality.”
With Adam Lallana set to leave the club in the summer and Gini Wijnaldum’s contract ending in 2021, Aouar would no doubt be an excellent addition for Liverpool, a player who can slot in the team right away, and given his age, also one for the future.
