Linked with Leeds in the summer, Leeds will regret missing out on Brahim Diaz
Leeds United were linked with Brahim Diaz in the summer and they will be wishing they had him now.
Manchester City starlet Diaz was a loan target for Leeds in the summer window, .
Marcelo Bielsa and Pep Guardiola have a strong relationship and Diaz was among several Manchester City players discussed for a potential loan move.
But the loan deal never materialised and Diaz remained at The Etihad.
When given a chance, the 19-year-old has shone. Just last week, he netted a brace against Fulham in the EFL Cup.
With his contract running out at the end of the season, for a cheap compensation fee.
And the highly-rated winger would have been an asset for Leeds if he had joined.

Alongside fellow Spaniards Samu Saiz and Pablo Hernandez, Diaz could have completed a dynamic attacking midfield trio.
The Spain under-21 international has so much skill and an eye for goal. With him in their ranks, Leeds’ attack would have been strengthened even further.
And unless he signs a new contract with the Citizens before January, he is unlikely to join Leeds on loan.
Manchester City might try to sell him to avoid losing him on the cheap and they probably won’t want him out on loan if he is not going to be at the club next season.
Bielsa will regret not pushing harder to sign Diaz.
