Lincoln fans delighted after signing Leeds youngster Robbie Gotts on loan

Leeds United youngster Robbie Gotts completed a loan move away from Elland Road on Thursday – and some Lincoln City fans on Twitter expressed their delight to be signing him.

The Whites confirmed on their that the 20-year-old has departed on a season-long loan, joining English Football League club Lincoln for the rest of the campaign.

Lincoln, who currently sit second in the League One table, are looking to earn promotion from the third-tier this season and have started strongly under manager Michael Appleton.

Gotta has completed a move to Sincil Bank in search of regular first-team minutes and he’s a highly-rated talent that is surely going to take a big step forward in his career with this move.

The central midfielder has come through the academy at the Yorkshire club, where he’s a made a name for himself as an all-action player with plenty of energy and quality on the ball.

He’s played three first-team appearances for Leeds and has been on the fringes under senior boss Marcelo Bielsa, but will now look to play on a weekly basis and he he could form a partnership alongside ex-Leeds man Liam Bridcutt in the centre of the park at Lincoln.
