‘Likely to stay’: 20-year-old Tottenham Hotspur youngster to be kept around by Antonio Conte, he’s been in first-team training
The 20-year-old holding midfielder spent time on loan at Portsmouth in League One last season.
A long-term loan move may have made sense for White this season.
However, Antonio Conte appears to want to keep him at the club for now.
White has been involved in first-team training under Conte, but has yet to make a match day squad.
Harvey White isn’t the only young midfielder expected to stay at Spurs, with Pape Matar Sarr also likely to stick around.

White likely to stay at Tottenham
It’s an interesting call from Conte, who clearly sees some potential in White.
However, there are plenty of players ahead of the 20-year-old in the Spurs pecking order.
Tottenham have brought in Yves Bissouma to compete with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Oliver Skipp is also set to return from injury shortly.
Sarr and White could learn a lot from Conte and the squad’s senior midfielders.

However, White’s only match experience is likely to come in the under-21s.
This isn’t the perfect learning environment for a young player who has already experienced first-team action elsewhere.
A serious injury crisis could see White thrown into the action, but this seems unlikely.
The 20-year-old has made two first team appearances in his career, but has yet to feature in the Premier League.
White will have to embrace staying at Tottenham for now, and hope that Conte trusts him in the domestic cups.
