Ange Postecoglou shares how Yves Bissouma has been around Tottenham training since being suspended
Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma is still trying to win back the trust of both his manager and teammates.
Bissouma was suspended for the opening day of the season after being filmed doing something he shouldn’t have been doing with friends.
Ange Postecoglou took a no-nonsense approach to dealing with Bissouma, suspending him from selection and insisting there was now a lot of trust building to be done.

Ange Postecoglou shares how Yves Bissouma has reacted to being suspended
Speaking to ahead of today’s clash with Everton, Postecoglou admitted Bissouma was effectively now behaving like a child trying to earn redemption.
“You know what it’s like when you punish your child and they do everything right for the next two days?” he said.
“He’s first in the meetings, he’s doing everything right but there’s always temptation down the road, so we’ll see. I’ve always believed in opportunity for redemption and learning. We’re still in that space at the moment with Biss.
“But obviously that door closes after a while if there’s repeated (indiscretions). He’s been good but I would have been surprised if he wasn’t. It’s always the key with Biss is consistency. The consistency of behaviour, what he does…it’s not that he’s doing a lot of bad things.”

Tottenham have their first home game of the season today against Everton.
With Lucas Bergvall impressing Spurs coaches in the summer and Archie Gray also impressing, Bissouma could well find it tough to get into the XI again.
Indeed, depending how the season goes and how he reacts, it would not be a surprise to see Bissouma among the players being made available when the January window rolls around.
