Liam Cooper makes claim about Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds future
Liam Cooper that he has no doubt that Marcelo Bielsa will sign a new contract and stay with Leeds United next season.
Bielsa’s future is back to be a talking point with his current deal set to expire in the summer. However, there looks to be no question that the very large majority of Leeds supporters want the Argentinian to carry on.

Leeds have made a fantastic return to the Premier League. They stand a brilliant chance of finishing their first year back in the top-half of the table.
There is a feeling that Bielsa has not yet taken the Whites as far as I can. And the good news for Leeds is that Cooper cannot see any scenario where Bielsa is not charge next season.

“I’m totally confident Marcelo will stay,” . “No doubt at all. He loves the boys, we all want him to stay and I’m sure he will. He loves the club, he loves the city, he loves the people and he loves it here.
“It’s the longest he has been at a club and that speaks volumes for the club, the city and how much he thinks of it. I think he can also see how far he can take this team, we’ve got an amazing group of lads who he can coach and improve. As long as he sees that, he will stay for as long as he can.”
It could continue to be a seriously exciting time for Leeds supporters. They have now re-established themselves at the highest level.
Of course, they will not be getting carried away given what has happened to Sheffield United this season. But it does feel as if there is a lot more to come from Leeds.
Replacing Bielsa is going to be a pivotal decision for the likes of Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta one day.
But Cooper is confident that that is not a call the club will need to seriously consider for some time.
