Liam Cooper labels Leeds teammate different class on Instagram
Both Liam Cooper and Jamie Shackleton have responded to Pascal Struijk’s Instagram by labelling the Leeds United youngster different class following the Whites’ win over Newcastle on Tuesday.
Struijk may have been expecting a quiet night at St James’ Park. The 21-year-old was left on the bench with Diego Llorente making his first start for Leeds.

However, Llorente’s night was over within 10 minutes. And Struijk was the man to come on for his injured teammate.
The Dutchman was outstanding for much of the game. , he won five aerial duels.

He also made three interceptions and seven clearances. No other player on the pitch could match either tally.
There certainly seemed to be times when Struijk was outshining Cooper. He read the game excellently and was composed when under pressure.
It was arguably a performance of a player who has a very bright future ahead.
And perhaps, it will help convince Marcelo Bielsa of his best position as he has previously been pushed slightly further forward when Kalvin Phillips has been missing.
It seems that his effort impressed a number of his teammates. Struijk took to social media after the game to comment on the victory…
