Leyton Orient fans react as Tottenham loanee George Marsh earns man of the match on league debut

Tottenham Hotspur youngster George Marsh earned Leyton Orient’s man of the match award on his league debut. With 42 per cent of the vote, as the man of the match on Saturday.

The 20-year-old midfielder is on loan at Orient until January but he has had to wait for his debut. Marsh played in the Checkatrade Trophy but had to wait until this Saturday for his debut.

Leyton Orient travelled to table-topping Exeter City at the weekend and drew 2-2. Marsh played the full 90 minutes as the O’s came from behind to lead 2-1 thanks to Lee Angol and Louis Dennis.

However, Exeter levelled things in added time from the penalty spot. It was a respectable point for Leyton Orient, though, in a tough venue. The O’s are now 18th after this draw but they could have been 14th.
