🌠The 2018 summer signing from Freiburg has been in fantastic form since coming into the starting XI for the departed Harry Maguire.

🅺Soyuncu, 23, has been a rock at the back alongside Jonny Evans, contributing to seven clean sheets so far – the most of any team in the Premier League.

𒊎His form has led to reported interest from the likes of Manchester City () and Arsenal (), but the Foxes are adamant they want to keep him, and ‘preliminary talks’ have already begun.

TBR’s view – Protect the asset

💎Leicester bosses would be wise to tie Soyuncu down amid supposed interest from Guardiola and the Gunners.

🌜A fresh deal would mean those clubs would have to fork out an absolute fortune to buy him.

𒊎They wouldn’t want to lose Soyuncu, but certainly if a Maguire-esque bid came in then that would go some way to helping improve the team even more.

ꦛThe recruitment is particularly strong at the moment at the King Power, and many would back Leicester to be just fine if Soyuncu was poached.
