Leicester now want to sign ‘amazing’ Newcastle player in January, he’s barely played – journalist
Newcastle United fans will be hoping that plenty of business can be done between themselves and Leicester City in the coming months.
The Magpies have been linked with some of Leicester’s best players over recent months.

This could free him up to move to the King Power Stadium and potentially becoming a bargaining chip in a bigger deal.
Leicester want to sign Newcastle goalkeeper Dubravka

It meant Danny Ward was finally given the opportunity to be Brendan Rodgers’ number one.
He looked shaky to begin with, but grew in confidence before the World Cup, keeping six clean sheets in eight games.
Dubravka is a tried and tested Premier League level goalkeeper, and would certainly be good competition for Ward, if not first choice on arrival.
The ‘amazing’ shot stopper was replaced in the summer by Nick Pope and St. James’ Park.
With Loris Karius’ deal expiring this month, there is a chance Newcastle recalled Dubravka to act as Pope’s back-up.
However, with Leicester now wanting to sign Dubravka, Newcastle would be silly not to explore some sort of part-exchange deal for one of their preferred targets.
It will be a real test of Dan Ashworth’s negotiation skills to see what could happen this month.
