Leicester fans react to Jamie Vardy’s performance in 1-1 away draw against Chelsea
Leicester City produced an impressive second half performance at Stamford Bridge yesterday and were perhaps a shade unlucky to come away with only point to show for it.
Wilfred Ndidi’s equaliser cancelled out Mason Mount’s goal – which came from a mistake by the Nigeria international in trying to play out from the back – to earn a 1-1 draw.
But on another day, Leicester would have taken all three points, with the impressive James Maddison missing a sitter in the second half.
Also, Jamie Vardy kept springing in behind the defensive line but the pass did not come often enough, with Maddison and Youri Tielemans the worst culprits in terms of holding onto the ball for too long.

That’s perhaps the main criticism of Leicester in that second half – they didn’t make enough chances for Vardy given all the possession they had – and that’s something the fans acknowledged on Twitter after the match.
The £140,000-a-week () star is still yet to score this season but the supporters feel that his season is about to spark into life, as soon as his team-mates find his runs in behind more regularly.

You made a lot of great runs just weren’t gettin the service today. I love how you stay positive even when you don’t get it. Keep it up!

Keep making those runs pal. When can learn to have one less touch you’ll be on double figures in no time.

Patience is required teams saw how well you guys were playing when the new gaffer came in and are simply counteracting that as they fear you more.

If the final service was better we may have come home with all 3 points. Good game at a tough ground against a team with a purpose.
