‘Time to go’: Leicester City fans react to 3-1 defeat to Tottenham

Leicester City slipped to 12th in the Premier League following yesterday’s 3-1 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley Stadium.

The Foxes are six games without victory in all competitions and their season is slipping towards mediocrity.

Jamie Vardy netted a consolation goal for the East Midlands-based side but it was in vain as Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min secured a win for Spurs.

Claude Puel’s side now face a run of games against sides around them in the table.

Wins are needed quickly in order to lift morale around the club.

Jamie Vardy was once again on the bench for the Foxes yesterday in a surprise to most supporters.

His first taste of the action won’t have helped matters either.

After stepping off the bench in the 59th minute, the England international missed a decisive penalty just a minute later.

Vardy did get his goal later on but had he scored his spot kick it could have changed the complexion of the game entirely.

It hasn’t been a great few weeks for Leicester who have continued to slip down the league table.

Something will need to change during their forthcoming fixtures and Puel must be beginning to feel the heat.

In truth, the Foxes played alright against a Spurs side who have rediscovered some form of late.

The supporters want results, however, and many were disappointed with another reversal.
