Leeds United round-up: Roofe injury, James future ‘not as simple’, injury comebacks
Roofe injury
Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe has been ruled out for a number of weeks with a knee injury.
the club’s top-scorer will face a number of weeks on the sidelines after scans showed ligament damage.
The forward picked up the injury during the win with Swansea City last week. Leeds will now be looking to Patrick Bamford to carry the burden of goalscoring responsibility.

James future
Leeds United remain interested in the signature of Daniel James and that would only have been further advanced by his performance in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Swansea City boss Graham Potter admitted he wants to keep the player but it is ‘not as simple’ as that.
James is out of contract in 2020 and Swansea do not want to risk losing him for a pittance. Leeds wanted to sign him in an initial loan spell with an eventual fee of £7 million being agreed.
Under-23 comeback
Leeds United under-23s defeated Bolton earlier today with Robbie Gotts and Jordan Stevens on the scoresheet in a 2-0 win.
The game was perhaps most important for the continued injury return of both Stuart Dallas and Gaetano Berardi who have been suffering with fitness woes.
