Jansson gets a letter
Pontus Jansson could face action from the FA this week. The Swedish star received a notice from the FA earlier this week asking to explain his post-match comments from the Brentford game at the weekend.
Leeds drew 1-1, with Jansson scoring the equaliser, after a suspected dive from Marley Watkins had earned Brentford a penalty.
He described the referee’s performance as ‘a robbery’ after the game. that Jansson has replied to the letter and is awaiting a response.
The defender is currently with his wife, who is expecting the birth of their first child.
Vieira trial
Leeds United released Romario Vieira this summer, after deciding the Guinea-Bissau midfielder was not good enough to make it at Elland Road.
The international is still looking for a new club, after an unsuccessful trial stint at Doncaster Rovers.
However,
