Leeds United round-up: Jansson praised, Roofe return and Brown update
Jansson form
Marcelo Bielsa has been lauding the performances of Swedish defender Pontus Jansson. The Argentine was speaking after the centre-back had scored a late equaliser against Brentford in the Championship yesterday.
Not only did he score the equaliser but he also put in an incredible defensive performance, keeping the Championship’s leading marksman Neal Maupay quiet.
Leeds will now hope the Swede is not sanctioned for his post-match criticism of referee Jeremy Simpson, who he accused of ‘robbing’ the game from Leeds.

Roofe return
Kemar Roofe has confirmed he will be fit for Leeds’ game against Blackburn Rovers after the international break.
The forward, who has been injured since mid-September,
Roofe has scored four goals in six Championship games for Leeds this season.
Brown date
Leeds fans will have to wait a little longer to see Izzy Brown in action. Managing Director Angus Kinnear confirmed in that the Chelsea loanee will be in first-team action from January.
He also allayed fears regarding paying his wages at present, with it confirmed Chelsea are still covering a large portion of his salary until he is fit.
The 21-year-old is recovering from an ACL tear.
