Redfearn opens up

Former Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has been discussing his exit from the club in 2015.

Thanks Uncle Victor

Spanish side Barakaldo have thanked Leeds United director of football Victor Orta for putting together a deal that saw them sign Oliver Sarkic this week.

Leeds’ talented striker, formerly of Benfica, joined the Spanish side on Friday and Orta for ‘making the loan possible’.

Leeds United have high hopes for Sarkic, whose season was curtailed by injury last term.

Starting with an Eku-bang

Caleb Ekuban got his loan career off to a bang this weekend. The Italian-Ghanaian striker struggled to find the net whilst a Leeds United player. It took him 14 games to score his first goal for Leeds. However, for loan club Trabzonspor it took just a matter of minutes.

The 24-year-old came off the bench and scored during Trabzonspor’s 4-0 win over Galatasaray.
