Pontus Jansson suggests he prefers Thomas Frank over Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa
Former Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has told that he prefers the management style of Brentford boss Thomas Frank over that of Marcelo Bielsa.
The uncompromising Swedish defender made the switch to Griffin Park from Elland Road in the summer.
His departure from Leeds was somewhat surprising given that he had become a cult-hero in West Yorkshire.
Jansson is the captain of the Bees this season and he is now settled at his new club following his £5 million move.

The 23-cap international will hope for another crack at the play-offs with his new club after the disappointment of last season.
Jansson has suggested that he prefers the management style of Frank over Leeds’ legendary gaffer.
“Marcelo is mental in everything that he sees about football but he does not want to have a close relationship with the players.
I would say I prefer a coach you can talk with. You don’t have to be able to talk about life in general but just football.
“You could do that with Marcelo but not as much because he’s God and he knows everything so you just have to listen.
“Me and Thomas we speak so much about football and I like that.”
Determined
Jansson played 120 times for Leeds and his departure did come as something as a surprise.

Leeds have kicked on without the centre-back, however. They currently sit top of the Championship and are well on course for a top-two finish.
It’s 15 years since the Yorkshiremen graced the Premier League and the club is geared towards a return to the top-flight.
Given a close bond with Frank, Jansson will hope to enjoy promotion through the play-offs with the Bees at the end of the current campaign.
