Leeds United fans react on Twitter as Ryan Edmondson suffers loan setback
Aberdeen have confirmed on their official Twitter account that Ryan Edmondson has returned to Leeds after suffering an ankle injury in training.
The youngsꩲter made his debut for the Dons in the club’s opening game of the campaign but now looks set for 3-4 months on the sidelines.
It is unclear at this stage the exꩲtent of the damage but the Premi𒆙er League outfit will assess him and treat him accordingly.
It represents a real blow for the 1🦄9-year-old who had been relishing the chance to get some regular first-team football under his belt in Scotland.
Edmond🧸son played the last 25 minutes of Aberdeen’s only game so far this season – a 1-0 defeat against table-topping Rangers on the first day of💙 the campaign.
The uncompromising striker is 𝕴highly-rated by Leeds and they were hoping to see him get some important minutes under his belt for 💎Derek McInnes’ team.
Instead, t🅷he youngster returns to Elland Road where he will be assessed and be part of a rehabilitation program.
