Leeds United are now thinking about signing striker who Arsenal bid for in January
Leeds United’s Premier League return will be one of the most intriguing aspects of next season.
Indeed, Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England, and they will be looking to make a splash on their return to the top-flight.
Leeds already have some quality players who are good enough for the Premier League – Ao Tanaka has been tipped to shine.
However, Leeds need new bodies through the door, and luckily, help could be on the way.
Tomas Soucek has been linked to Leeds, and now, the Whites are looking at another player who was playing alongside Soucek at West Ham this season.

Leeds considering Evan Ferguson
According to , Leeds United are looking for a new striker.
Callum Wilson and Jamie Vardy have been considered by Leeds, while the Whites are also thinking about signing Evan Ferguson from Brighton.
Ferguson spent the second-half of this season on loan at West Ham, but he didn’t make much of an impact for the Hammers.
However, this is a young player with a lot of potential.
It wasn’t long ago that Ferguson was being valued at £100m, and at the age of just 20, it’s way too soon to write the Irishman off.
Ferguson is still rated. After all, Arsenal made a bid for Ferguson in January before his move to West Ham.
John Giles’ past comments on Evan Ferguson
Leeds fans have every right to be sceptical about Ferguson potentially heading to Elland Road.
Indeed, the Irishman only scored one Premier League goal last season, and that simply isn’t good enough.
However, Ferguson has had the stamp of approval from one of Leeds’ biggest legends in the past as John Giles has claimed he’s a top striker who the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United should go after.
“If you’re talking about in England, Manchester United, or Liverpool, if they’re going to buy a top striker, I’d buy him,” Giles said.
“Strikers don’t all have a good time, but it’s when they’re not having a good time, that’s when you judge them.
“He’s the real McCoy in my opinion.”
Giles certainly knows his stuff, and many Leeds fans may well be on board with this signing after hearing this verdict.
Ferguson is no longer a £100m-rated prospect, but he is a prospect nonetheless, and if Leeds can help him reach his potential, he could be a star.
