Leeds reportedly want £49k-a-week speedster who Pep Guardiola has deemed ‘very impressive’
Leeds transfer speculation is high with the summer transfer window finally open.
The Whites will most likely be in need of bolstering the left-back position this summer.
Leeds are releasing Barry Douglas after a season away on loan.
Meanwhile, Ezgjan Alioski looks set to move on with his contract expiring.
Leeds won’t have a natural left-back in this case, so the position could become a priority for the club.

“Attractive to Bielsa”
According to , the Whites are keen on Lyon’s Maxwel Cornet, a 22-cap Ivory Coast international.
They claim his pace and skill is attractive to Bielsa, but Leeds are apparently not keen on the £20m fee.
The Whites may decide to wait for the valuation to drop before making an offer.
Cornet joined Les Gones in 2015 from Metz and has clocked up over 250 appearances for his club.
He first made a name for himself as an attacker but is now shining at left-back.

Leeds transfer talk: Cornet is a Guardiola-approved player
The ace boasts a superb record against Manchester City in the Champions League.
In three games against Pep Guardiola’s side, Cornet has scored four goals en route to two wins and a draw.
“I was very impressed by the talent of Maxwel Cornet,”
Cornet also scored as Lyon shocked City 3-1 in last season’s quarter-finals.
