Leeds transfer news: Fabrizio Romano shares latest Georginio Rutter to Leeds update
It looks like it’s only a matter of hours before Leeds United announce the signing of Georginio Rutter.
Over the past few days, speculation linking the Whites to the Hoffenheim ace has been heading in the right direction.
On Tuesday, Fabrizio Romano told that Leeds and Rutter’s club were sorting out the final details for a deal.

Two days on, and the deal taking the 20-year-old to Elland Road has reportedly been agreed, and the final touches are being applied.
On Thursday evening, Romano took to Twitter with the latest update on the Rutter to Leeds move.
The attacking talent is already in Leeds with his agent ahead of a medical, wrote the transfer insider.
And “in the next hours”, Rutter will reportedly sign the long-term contract with the Whites.
“Here we go confirmed,” reiterated Romano.
Official announcement surely due soon – TBR View
Hopefully this will be the last update we get from a source that isn’t Leeds United themselves.
This deal appears all-but done, and when/if the official announcement is made, it’ll be a cause for celebration.
Rutter is a superb talent who has drawn comparisons with Bayern Munich and Germany star Serge Gnabry.
The Bundesliga made the comparison and sung his praises just a few days ago.
‘He is among the 50 quickest players in the Bundesliga with a top speed of 34.54 km/h (21.46 mph),’ they wrote.
‘So his pace, direct running and mesmerising dribbling make him a handful for any defender.
‘Add into the mix that he is equally comfortable out wide as he is through the middle and it becomes clear just why the Hoffenheim No.33 is so highly regarded.’

Hopefully Rutter can hit the ground running for Jesse Marsch’s side and help pull them up the table.
What’s especially exciting is that his contract reportedly runs until 2028.
This suggests Leeds have lots of faith in Rutter, and the player also has a lot of faith in the club.
Hopefully not long now until the announcement…
