Report: Leeds have told Newcastle to pay £10m more than last week’s bid if they want to sign ‘unbelievable’ player
Leeds United are holding their ground when it comes to Jack Harrison and have reportedly told Newcastle they’ll need to find £35m for the winger.
Harrison is a wanted man and has emerged as a target for Newcastle in recent weeks. Indeed, it was reported a week ago that Leeds had turned down a bid of around £25m for Harrison from the Magpies. At the time, it was stated that Leeds simply valued their winger at ‘considerably’ more.
And according to the today, that valuation from Leeds stands at around the £35m mark, a few which is claimed that will be more than enough to put Newcastle off.

Despite having the mega riches of PIF behind them, the Mags have been careful in their approach during the summer window and have resisted the temptation to splash huge sums on new players. Sven Botman has arrived for big money but as yet, Eddie Howe hasn’t got that extra attacking addition he wanted.
Newcastle are believed to be willing to spend to get the right player but the Northern Echo suggests the £25m mark is around their limit, unless they sell. Leeds’ insistence on £35m for Harrison, then, might just nip this one in the bud before it even gets going properly.
TBR’s View: Leeds Right To Demand Big Money For Jack Harrison
Leeds aren’t stupid at the end of the day. They know they’ve just brought in £100m for Phillips and Raphinha and at the same time, they known Newcastle have money sitting around.
With that in mind, Leeds are within their rights to demand a big sum for the ‘‘ Harrison. The winger is one of their key players and as always, the big question is how much does he cost to replace.
