Kalvin Phillips and Stuart Dallas were amongst a raft of players to react on social media to the news that Leeds United that Gjanni Alioski has now headed through the Elland Road exit.
After much speculation, Leeds announced that Alioski would leave after four years with the Whites.

There had been plenty of talk surrounding his future. Unsurprisingly, the Whites had put a new contract on the table. However, he now looks set to continue his career elsewhere.
‘1 of the best’: Alioski lauded by teammates as Leeds exit is announced
From the outside, it appears that few in a game are quite like Alioski. The North Macedonia international was consistently unpredictable – both on the pitch, and with some of his antics off it.
His popularity amongst his teammates however, could clearly never be questioned.

Several Leeds stars took to Twitter or Instagram to laud the 29-year-old. Liam Cooper and Dallas were amongst those to pay touching tributes to the wide-man…
Was a pleasure you lunatic! A beautiful human. All the best for the future brother. 👊🏻🙌🏼

‘Will miss you’: Leeds stars emotional as another teammates leaves
Leeds fans have already said goodbye to two key figures in recent months. Of course, it was announced ahead of the final game of last season that Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi were leaving.
While their departures unfortunately made sense, it was harder to predict what the future would hold for Alioski.
It is little surprise to see Leeds target a new left-back. Junior Firpo looks to be the man coming in.
Nevertheless, Alioski was outstanding in the final weeks of last season. And few will forget his brilliant assist at Manchester City for that goal from Dallas.
So it is definitely a blow to lose him. And it appears that several members of the squad hoped he would stay.
Many joined Cooper and Dallas in lauding the 2017 signing on social media following the announcement…
