Leeds star Klich posts hilarious two-word message on Instagram, after incident with Spurs player
Mateusz Klich was back to his usual best on Saturday as he helped Leeds United produce an excellent display to end Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League hopes – and has now posted a hilarious message, following an incident with Serge Aurier.
Goals from Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo Moreno cancelled out Son Heung-min’s equaliser to see Leeds pull off a suprise result. Spurs are now miles away from the Champions League, and the Europa League is the best they can hope for.
During the match, Klich shoulder-barged Tottenham defender Aurier in an attempt to win the ball – a fair challenge, but the Ivory Coast captain flung himself to the floor as if he had been shot. Aurier was poor all afternoon, and this compounded it.
The incident, in the 11th minute, did not even go to VAR. Leeds-fan account We Are Leeds MOT posted it on their Instagram account, sarcastically joking that it was “absolute filth” from the Poland international against the Spurs defender.
Klich has now responded on his own social media, posting a two-word verdict on his Instagram story. He summed it up with “check completed” and a sleeping emoji – clearly showing his feelings towards Aurier trying to win a foul against him.
