Leeds star and Charlie Adam send Instagram posts to Rangers star Ryan Jack

Rangers star Ryan Jack has taken to Instagram to let supporters know that he’s undergone a successful operation on his troublesome calf injury which has ruled him out of Euro 2020.

The Teddy Bears midfielder took to social media to provide an update to his followers and received some positive messages from Charlie Adam and Leeds captain Liam Cooper.

Jack’s injury has come at a rotten time and he will miss Scotland’s first participation in a major tournament since the World Cup in 1998.

The 29-year-old has played 24 times for Rangers this season, helping the club secure a first Scottish Premiership title for 10 years. He will now hope to recover as quickly as possible in a bid to be fit for pre-season.

Ex-Gers star Adam and Scotland defender Cooper had some kind words for the midfielder following his Instagram post earlier today.

Jack has been a good player for Rangers and Steven Gerrard will certainly hope to have him available for action next season.

Steve Clarke won’t be pleased to lose him for this summer’s European Championships, with Jack particularly impressive lately for Scotland.

The midfielder is a popular figure among his peers and his injury represents a cruel blow to the Tartan Army.

For Rangers, they have got on with things extremely well. Gerrard’s men have failed to lose a game all season and Jack is an integral part of the Ibrox setup.

The big challenge for Rangers will come next season. Ending their barren run without a league title is one thing but retaining their trophy will be equally tough.

Having Jack back fit and available for the 2021/22 campaign would certainly enhance the team’s chances of a successful defence.
