Leeds should pull out all the stops to sign 18-year-old attacker rated 9/10 earlier this week – TBR View
While Leeds United enjoyed a superb summer transfer window and are doing well in the Premier League, an eye should always be on the upcoming window.
One player who Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites were linked with in the summer is going from strength to strength, putting in superb displays week in, week out, and is surely in line for a big move.
Reading academy graduate Michael Olise was reportedly on Leeds’ radar, as well as that of fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Wolves, according to the .

The 18-year-old looks a cut above, with two goals and three assists in nine competitive games for the Championship’s early pacesetters, who are already seven points clear at the top.
On Tuesday, in the Royals’ 4-2 win away at Blackburn, Olise was once again one of his side’s stars with his side’s second goal of the night and a superb display.
Local outlet gave the young attacker a 9 out of 10 and wrote: “Produced a brilliantly composed finish for Reading’s second after a lung-busting run towards goal.
“Confidently breezed past the defender before angling a shot into the bottom corner. Full of tricks all night and Rovers couldn’t handle him.”
A versatile, talented young player with great passing and dribbling abilities who’s proving himself at Championship level, Olise sounds like a good fit for a Bielsa team.
However, he wouldn’t come cheap – in August, ‘s analysis piece on the young prodigy suggested a ball-park figure of “perhaps close to £10million, if not more”.
And any ball-park or reported price tag could go even higher by next year, given Olise is fast becoming one of Reading’s most talented – and valuable – assets.
Nonetheless, the France Under-18 international is likely to be the subject of a lot of transfer gossip next year given his talent and chance to develop further.
Leeds should certainly pull out all the stops to try and snap him up before another club probably does.
