Leeds’ Robin Koch posts injury update on Instagram; Xherdan Shaqiri replies
Xherdan Shaqiri was amongst those to reply to Robin Koch after the Leeds United defender posted an injury update on Instagram on Monday.
Koch has been sidelined since Leeds’ defeat to Chelsea earlier this month. , the centre-back is set to be missing for the next three months.
It is a big blow for Leeds. The Germany international has produced some colossal performances since arriving in the summer.
And the Whites have conceded 13 goals since Koch limped off at Stamford Bridge.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have also been without Diego Llorente for the last three games. And of course, Gaetano Berardi is yet to make his return to the fold.
The good news for Leeds is that Koch has made a promising start to his recovery. The 24-year-old took to social media this week to reach out to the fans for the first time since suffering the injury.
He suggested that things are currently going well, and insisted that he cannot wait to be back out on the pitch.
Unsurprisingly, Koch received plenty of responses. And amongst those to reply was Shaqiri. The Liverpool wide-man posted: ‘Get well soon’.
