Leeds reportedly want Championship star that Warnock said would go to the top
Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Queens Park Rangers playmaker Eberechi Eze this summer and Neil Warnock has recently predicted that the playmaker is “destined for the top”.
Eze, 22, has had a hand in 22 goals for QPR during his 46 Championship appearances – scoring an impressive 14 times and creating eight. An England Under-21 international, Eze has been strongly linked with the Premier League.
Leeds are ready to outbid West Ham, Tottenham and Crystal Palace for the £20million-rated playmaker. Indeed, Leeds informed QPR in January that they would make a firm bid if they got promoted.
Eze is expected to leave QPR and former Leeds boss Warnock told EFL on Quest in March that he had spoken to QPR director Les Ferdinand – who had told him that Eze is likely to leave, and that he is “destined” for the top.
“I spoke to Les Ferdinand this week and they are going to have a right job keeping hold of him,” Warnock told (7 March, 9pm). “Eze – just outstanding. He’s destined for the top.”

TBR’s view – Eze would be a stunning addition for Leeds
Young, versatile, pretty cheap and English, Eze would be an excellent signing for Leeds in the coming months. Yes, he is unproven in the Premier League but he is already showing that he has outgrown the Championship.
If Leeds can tempt Eze to ignore the clutches of London clubs and leave the capital for Yorkshire, then Leeds would be pulling off a major coup in signing Eze. Warnock’s comments are proof of just that.
