Liverpool striker Danny Ings is set to leave the club this summer in search of first-team football, , and Leeds United should plot an audacious swoop for his services.
Marcelo Bielsa is looking to lay down a marker at Elland Road in this market and has identified a marquee striker as a priority, with Hull City’s Abel Hernandez also linked with a move to the club, . And Ings would match the ambition the Argentine is showing.
Ings’ career never really got going at Anfield due to persistent injuries, and the form of Brazilian star Roberto Firmino. But that is not to say the 25-year-old doesn’t have much to offer. The Englishman amassed an impressive 43 goals in 130 appearances for Burnley, showcasing his brilliant movement and clinical edge in front of goal and, given a new project, he could pick up where he left off.
