Ethan Ampadu has been filmed mocking Enzo Maresca after Leeds recorded a stunning 3-1 win over Leicester at Elland Road.
The victory lifted the Whites to within six points of the Foxes at the top of the Championship.
So, how did Ethan Ampadu mock Enzo Maresca after Leeds 3-1 Leicester? Let’s take a look…
Ethan Ampadu mocks Enzo Maresca
Well, the Italian caused controversy ahead of the Championship clash by stating that it was a “huge” game for Leeds, but merely just another match for Leicester.
In an apparent attempt to put the pressure on Daniel Farke, Maresca : “It’s a huge, huge, huge game for them. For us, it’s one more game.”
That comment clearly struck the Leeds players, as Ampadu was filmed using the 44-year-old’s words against him after captaining the Whites to a 3-1 win at Elland Road on Friday night.
As posted on the club’s official X account, the Wales international marched down the tunnel shouting: “Tell you what, that was a huge, huge game, wasn’t it?”
Leeds fans will surely love that spiky remark from the 23-year-old.
Leeds signed a gem
In our view, the decision to sign Ampadu for just has flown under the radar – Leeds have a real diamond on their hands.
Not only can the man from Exeter – who has appearances under his belt this term – operate in both midfield and defence, but he maintains his quality regardless of what position Farke deploys him in.

Furthermore, Ampadu is just 23 years of age, so the sky really is the limit – it speaks volumes that he has already been trusted to wear the captain’s armband as well, before his debut campaign in Elland Road has even finished.
Regardless of whether Leeds achieve promotion or not, those on the recruitment team at Elland Road can give themselves a huge pat on the back for this signing.
