Andrea Radrizzani has liked a tweet from a Leeds United fan asking for the club to sign Rodrigo De Paul before their next game.

The latest came on Saturday as they were beaten 1-0 against Brighton. It was a hugely disappointing performance from Leeds, who rarely looked like finding an equaliser.

Their lack of creativity against the Seagulls will be a concern for Bielsa. And Radrizzani’s activity on social media will have done nothing to quieten the supporters hoping to see a future move for De Paul.

The Argentinian has been linked with Leeds for some time. , a future move is unlikely.

It was suggested that they asked about the 26-year-old in the summer. However, Leeds were reportedly told that De Paul would cost over £30 million and decided to look elsewhere.

It seems difficult to imagine Leeds changing their stance and making a move. The Whites have only made a handful of January signings during Bielsa’s tenure.

But it would appear that Radrizzani may be a fan of the Udinese star. The Leeds chairman liked a supporter’s tweet suggesting that De Paul was needed before Bielsa’s men return to action.

It will be fascinating to see if anything does come of their current run of form. Of course, a move for De Paul in this window would come as a huge shock. But perhaps Leeds may be willing to keep their other options open as the deadline edges closer.
