Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has promised squad promotion party in Vegas

that he has promised Marcelo Bielsa’s squad that they can go to Las Vegas if they gain promotion to the Premier League.

Italian media mogul Radrizzani is close to ending Leeds United’s 15-year wait for Premier League football. The Whites currently sit in second place in the Championship table with four league games to play.

Radrizzani deserves credit for appointing Marcelo Bielsa as manager, who has masterminded Leeds’ push to the top flight. He has also brought a steadiness and reliability back to Elland Road, after Massimo Cellino.

Asked what he would do if Leeds do gain promotion to the Premier League in just his second full season since taking full control of the Whites, Radrizzani stated that he had promised to pay for the players to go to Vegas.

“If it does happen, we will got Vegas with the players,” “I promised them. The whole team.”

TBR’s view

Leeds now have four games to remain in second. They sit three points ahead of Sheffield United who are in third, and now just four behind leaders Norwich City. There is certainly all to play for.

The Whites take on Wigan Athletic on Saturday at Elland Road in a match they should claim three points from. The Blades, meanwhile, face a slightly trickier clash against Nottingham Forest – albeit at home.

With just four to play, Leeds are in the driving seat. It is about keeping their heads and doing all they can to play with as much freedom as possible.
