Leeds now interested in signing Christian Eriksen – journalist

Journalist Ben Jacobs that Lꩵeeds United are one of the sides interested in Christian Eriksen – and m🅘ay be more likely to sign the Dane than Tottenham Hotspur.

Eriksen is currently set to be a free agent after a superb spell wi🐽th Brentford. Unsurprisingly, the Bees would love to keep the 30-year-old following his amaziꦏng return to football.

🐲However, there is plenty of interest in the attacking midfielder. And it seemed that his former club were ready to make a move for E🥀riksen.

Eriksen enjoyed the best period💮 of his career at Tottenham. And he knows Antonio Conte from his time at Inter Milan. So a move to North London seemed to make sense on a number of levels.

And reports this week claimed that Spurs were indeꦜed the side most likely to sign Eriksen. However, that came shortly after Alasdair Gold suggested that Tot✱ten🦂ham’s interest had cooled in recent weeks.

And Jacobꦑs certainly does not expect Eriksen to end up at Tottenham. In fact, he suggested that the only firm offer had come from Manchester United. Meanwhile, Leeds are a🎉lso eyeing a remarkable move.

“Other clubs that are looking at him that are a bit 🌳newer: Leicester City, who considered a January move, and Leeds United and Newcastle. But Manchester United are the most advanced,” .

“So Manchester United and Brentford are in the mix. Behind them at the moment, but they could advance in the next w👍eek: Leicester, Leeds, there’s talk of West Ham United still as well. And Spurs is th🍒e least likely scenario,” he would later add.

Certainly, few Leeds fans will be think🦋ing that they have any chance of signing Eriksen. He is a w🃏orld-class player. And he is seemingly wanted by half of the Premier League.

Thomas Frankဣ said that ꦇhe has been ‘‘. And he will be able to demand a huge contract at his next club.

It is hard to see Leeds being able t𒉰o stand out enough in the race – if they do make an offer – to be able to convince Erꦑiksen to move to Elland Road.

But ther🦂e is no question that it would be unbelievable if they could somehow make someth🍌ing happen.
