Leeds United are currently going through an incredibly productive spell off the pitch, with a number of players extending their contracts at Elland Road.
Kalvin Phillips, Stuart Dallas and Liam Cooper are amongst the first-team stars to have signed new deals in recent times (via ). Meanwhile, the club that five youngsters had signed new contracts earlier this week.
And it appears that Leeds are not done yet. that Luke Ayling and Mateusz Klich are also closing in on fresh terms.
The Elland Road faithful will be delighted to see the club be proactive. There have been a number of occasions down the years when the Whites have lost some of their better players after not addressing their contract situations.
Given the events of recent weeks, it would be a surprise if Leeds were not in negotiations with every first-team player whose contract expires in the next couple of years.
So it would make a lot of sense if they are in talks with Leif Davis already. But if they are not, then perhaps now is the time to make sure that he is tied down.
Davis has made a promising start to life with Leeds. He has impressed on almost every occasion he has played for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, and looks destined for a great career.
