The stats that suggest Mario Stroeykens could be a real gem for Leeds as talks get under way with Anderlecht attacker
Leeds United have been linked with a move for Anderlecht attacking midfielder Mario Stroeykens.
The Whites have a busy summer on the horizon as they look to strengthen their ranks ahead of their return to the Premier League.
Leeds won the Championship title to secure their return to the top flight at the second time of asking.

Now, it has been reported that Leeds have begun talks over Stroeykens, a Belgian attacker who is part of the same agency as Elland Road duo Wilfried Gnonto and Daniel James.
Leeds United make contact over Anderlecht’s Mario Stroeykens
According to Belgian football journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Leeds have set their sights on Stroeykens.
The reporter has claimed that Leeds like the 20-year-old’s profile and have begun initial discussions around personal terms.
Tavolieri also claims that Leeds are yet to make an offer to Anderlecht for Stroeykens, whose contract expires next summer.
What Mario Stroeykens could bring to Leeds United
Stroeykens has made a name for himself as one of the Belgian top flight’s best young players.
At just 20 years of age, he has already made 132 competitive appearances for Anderlecht, registering 16 goals and 15 assists.
Stroeykens has also been capped 12 times for Belgium’s Under-21s, picking up one assist in the process.
The Leeds target ranks highly among his fellow No. 10s in plenty of categories, including goals, assists, shot-creating actions, successful take-ons, touches of the ball and progressive passes.
