Leeds have a ‘brilliant’ 21-year-old in their ranks, says 50-cap star
Leeds United ace Alfie McCalmont has been praised by Northern Ireland teammate Shane Ferguson.
The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Thorp Arch and has made two appearances for the Whites.
McCalmont is currently away from Elland Road on loan once again, stepping up to League One level with Morecambe.

Last season, the Leeds midfielder shone on loan at fourth-tier Oldham.
He claimed 10 goals and five assists from 39 competitive appearances.
While McCalmont is progressing at club level, he’s also making a name for himself at international level.
He has won four caps for NI, and last Sunday he made his first start for his nation.
McCalmont played the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 win over Estonia.

Northern Ireland’s future looks bright, with the likes of McCalmont, Daniel Ballard and Conor Bradley making names for themselves.
And Ferguson, a Northern Ireland veteran, was pleased to see such talented youngsters shining for their nation.
“Seeing young players coming through is great,” the 30-year-old, who plays for Rotherham, told the .
“Alfie McCalmont was also brilliant the way he played against Estonia.
“Hopefully we can keep producing players like that.”
