Leeds gem Sam Greenwood hails Arsenal star’s display v Newcastle
Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has received praise from Leeds United talent Sam Greenwood following the Gunners’ victory on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal charges ran out 2-0 winners over Newcastle United in the day’s early kickoff.
Saka opened the scoring for the Gunners in the 56th minute, slotting home from Nuno Tavares’ through-ball.

The 20-year-old sadly had to come off eight minutes later, after going down and pointing to his left thigh.
Gabriel Martinelli replaced Saka and doubled Arsenal’s lead with a superb volley shortly after coming on.
After the game, Saka took to Instagram with a picture of his goal celebration and the caption “perfect way to start the weekend”.
Saka received praise from plenty of fans as well as some peers, including the Leeds talent:

Greenwood is one of the brightest youngsters at Leeds, having joined the Whites from Arsenal in 2020.
The Leeds forward played alongside Saka at Hale End and is now making a name for himself at Elland Road.
Greenwood has already made two senior appearances for Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa and looks set for a bright future at the club.
