Leeds fans wowed by 27-year-old’s performance in Burnley victory
Leeds United beat Burnley in emphatic fashion on Saturday in the Premier League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were amazed by the performance of their defender Diego Llorente.
The Whites were clinical in a 4-0 away victory at Burnley, which moved them onto 53 league points with two games remaining.
After netting three past Tottenham last week, they followed it up with four goals against Brighton as their strong end to the campaign continues.
Mateusz Klich and Jack Harrison were both on the scoresheet inside the opening hour to put Leeds ahead, before substitute Rodrigo Moreno came off the bench to net an eye-catching double.
They finish their first campaign back in the top flight with a trip to Southampton, and finally a home match at Elland Road against West Brom in front of some supporters.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media though were keen to give one of their defenders a special mention for his contribution on the weekend.
Llorente, 27, helped keep a well deserved clean sheet, with goalkeeper Illan Meslier a rock behind coming to the rescue on a couple of occasions.
Centre-half Llorente showed his ball-playing abilities with real composure at the back, while defensively he was strong and intelligent with his work to nullify Burnley’s two-man forward line that always apply pressure.
Here are some Whites fans waxing lyrical about Llorente:
Llorente was everywhere at the back. Great game.
