Leeds fans respond to Andrea Radrizzani’s Tweet, reckon he scouted player on Saturday
Leeds United are reportedly after Freiburg defender Robin Koch this summer and the Germany international starred for his side on Saturday afternoon as the Bundesliga returned – prompting reaction to Andrea Radrizzani’s Tweet.
Koch, 23, has caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest names over the last couple of seasons. The Freiburg defender is naturally a centre-back, but can also do a job in holding midfield – where he played on Saturday.
Director of Football Victor Orta let slip in an interview with during the January transfer window that the Elland Road club had been scouting him. But Benfica and Tottenham have also been linked.
claimed that Benfica had pulled out of a move, with £10.6million enough to land Koch. Amid the rumours, owner Radrizzani posted on Twitter – informing fans he was watching Freiburg’s clash against Leipzig.
Finally football is back …important first step to be back to a normal life 🙏💪

Leeds could do with a player that is able to play at centre-back or holding midfield, much like Brighton loanee Ben White. With the global health crisis likely to affect Leeds’ spending, the chances of signing White on a permanent basis seem slim.
Given the links with Koch, Leeds fans responded to Radrizzani’s Tweet which shows the Italian owner watching Freiburg’s 1-1 draw with Leipzig – and many reckon Radrizzani was keeping a close eye on Koch.
You scouting Robin Koch 👍
