A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Ryan Edmondson after the striker scored twice – including one stunning goal – in a pre-season friendly for Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
Edmondson did not have the opportunity to get the best preparation in leading into the clash with Rochdale.

after the game that he had been isolating ahead of the friendly.
That probably explains why Simon Grayson initially left him on the bench. However, he came on after 52 minutes.
And he went on to score twice in the six-goal thriller. His second goal, in particular, proved to be a stunner.

Edmondson stuck his leg out to get on the end of a cross. But rather than bring it down, the 20-year-old managed to loop the ball over the goalkeeper.
Understandably, there has been some debate about whether he meant it or not. But many Leeds fans on social media do not seem to mind too much either way.
Several have lauded the youngster, who has not had the easiest time in the last few years.
‘Magical’: Leeds fans rave about Edmondson goal
He has made his first-team debut at Elland Road. However, he has barely featured under Marcelo Bielsa. And his loan spells are yet to really ignite.
It remains to be seen if he can kick on from here. But there is no question that he is off to an outstanding start.
With that in mind, here is what some of the fans made of Edmondson’s delicious lob…
