Leeds fans react to Jack Harrison display vs Everton
A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to laud Jack Harrison after the Whites secured their first point of the season against Everton on Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side played their part in a stunning 2-2 draw at Elland Road. It was a fitting occasion as the stadium was filled for a Premier League game for the first time since 2004.

Leeds had to come from behind on two occasions against the Toffees. But they showed huge character to battle back and earn a point.
There were several superb performances. Illan Meslier made a couple of huge saves at 2-1 down.
Stuart Dallas was excellent, no matter where he played. Both Mateusz Klich and Raphinha got on the scoresheet. And Kalvin Phillips made a brilliant return.

But many on social media felt that Harrison was a standout for the home side.
The showed glimpses on the opening day. But it was frightening just how many players he beat against Everton.
No player completed more dribbles than the 24-year-old (). And there were occasions when he managed to get himself out of tight spaces in the most remarkable of ways.
Perhaps he could have been better in front of goal. He squandered a really good chance in the final seconds.
‘Outstanding today’: Leeds fans laud Harrison after Everton draw
But many felt that he was somewhere near his best against Rafa Benitez’s side.
With that in mind, here is what some of the fans made of Harrison’s display…
Thought Harrison and Raph were outstanding today.

Harrison was our best player. Wow what a game he had, from minute one he was at 100%

Thought Harrison was our best today.

Pretty good today, thought Harrison & Dallas were top class. It did highlight where we are lacking as I thought Everton cut through our midfield far too easily at times but all in all can’t complain! Their pen was stonewall & thought DCL bullied one of our CB’s all game

Really thought Harrison and Raphinha were back to close on their best today. Gave us a real threat on both flanks. Overall, probably a fair result as either side could have nicked it. Couple of excellent saves from Meslier as well.

Jackie Harrison was quality today. Kalvin was brilliant second half. Bill was a bit off for me, distribution not the best. Miss Llorente’s quality coming out from the back. Lots of positives to build on, much better than last week

How good was Harrison for us today! And Meslier again with vital saves 😍🤩🤩🤩

Jack Harrison could prove to be one of our most important players this season. I though he was excellent today.
Tough game versus a compact Everton side, but he still showed glimpses of his quality.— Anders (@BenBuford11)
