Leeds fans react on Twitter to exciting Liam Cooper update

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to react to that Liam Cooper is set to be fit for the weekend’s trip to Fulham.

Leeds have not had Cooper available for any of their last three games due to a calf strain. It did appear that Marcelo Bielsa’s side were going to come through that period unscathed and boasting a flawless record.

Having beaten both Huddersfield and Hull City 2-0, Leeds went 3-0 up against Cardiff City at the weekend. Unfortunately for the Whites, they had to settle for a point against the Bluebirds.

The result would have given the out-of-form Cottagers a big boost in confidence. But the Whites have received their own lift ahead of the game.

that Cooper is set to return for the game having recovered from injury. And the news has, unsurprisingly, gone down extremely well amongst the fans.

Some have insisted that Cooper has to go straight back into the lineup on Saturday. Gaetano Berardi has arguably done extremely well in the last few games. But Cooper’s partnership with Ben White has been a revelation for much of the campaign.

And Bielsa will be aware that Leeds are coming up against the division’s most lethal striker in Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Fulham man has scored 16 goals already, so it will be a fascinating contest with the Whites boasting the best defensive record in the Championship.
