Leeds fans react on Twitter to Daniel James display

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Dan James after the winger’s performance in their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Tuesday.

Leeds picked up a massive three points with Raphinha scoring a stoppage-time penalty.

The home side played some superb football in the early stages of the contest. And James was one of those to cause some problems, cutting in from the left and giving Joel Ward a torrid time on a few occasions.

The Whites did not manage to create too many clear-cut chances during that first-half. But the Welshman did stretch the visitors.

And he set up a golden opportunity in the early stages after the break. The 24-year-old found Rodrigo after being picked out by a sumptuous ball from Raphinha.

Unfortunately, Rodrigo appeared to be anticipating contact from the goalkeeper and did not seem to take an attempt on goal as he put the ball out of play.

James, shortly after, managed to get a major reaction out of the Elland Road crowd after two robust challenges in quick succession.

The wide-man has not had the easiest time since coming to Leeds. But he has certainly shown plenty of promise.

And it appears that many felt that the clash with the Eagles marked James’ best performance yet for Leeds.
