Leeds fans react on Twitter to Andrea Radrizzani’s investment comments
A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to respond to comments made by Andrea Radrizzani regarding potential investment at Elland Road.
Radrizzani has tended to make no secret of the fact that he would be open to investors coming in at Leeds. In 2018, the Italian sold a minority stake to 49ers Enterprises, linked with NFL franchise San Francisco 49ers.

And Radrizzani has now suggested to The Times that he is considering three offers, including one from Qatar Sports Investment, the owners of Paris Saint-Germain.
“I have been approached by more than 20 parties and I have selected these three,” . “The option of Qatar Sports Investment and Nasser — first of all they are friends, we have had a good relationship for a long time. Secondly, they have the possibility to bring this club to compete with Manchester City, so for the fans that could be a fantastic opportunity.

“The second is based in America, he’s a big fan of Leeds United since he was a child, and I like that.
“Another one is the owner of an Italian club. With another club you can create synergy to be more competitive and to target the Premier League — we could maybe get a loan to increase the quality of the team.”
Unsurprisingly, the Leeds fans have had plenty to debate regarding Radrizzani’s comments. Some believe that it is time for the current owner to step aside and sell the club to another party.
It is likely that those fans would prefer to see QSI come in. As Radrizzani notes, there could be a frightening amount of potential for the club, on the pitch, should QSI come in. One fan joked that Edinson Cavani could be a potential loan target in January if an agreement is reached.
However, there are also others who have concerns about potential investment from Qatar. And some are very keen to see Radrizzani stay on in some capacity no matter what decision he makes.
Having also lived through the chaos of Massimo Cellino’s time as owner, the Leeds fans, understandably, appear to have some concerns about a potential investor coming in from an Italian club. Cellino, of course, currently owns Brescia, but it would be a huge shock if he was linked with a return to Yorkshire.
Here is what some of the Leeds fans made of Radrizzani’s comments…
Get it done by January. This summers firesale proves Radz doesn’t have the funds for driving this club forward where it belongs. I don’t want to find out who we need to sell 2020 if there isn’t a cash injection into the club.

Cavani on loan in Jan should sort out our inefficiency in front of goal.

Let’s hope this comes off Andrea has done a fantastic job so far us that’s what I think anyway

Need to keep Radrizzani, the only reason there are offers on the table its due to the great work he’s been doing.

God I hope we don’t go with QSI

Itl be the Italian football club owner wont it ?

I think he would sell to QSI however he wants to be the man to take back to the Premiership. If QSI can make Leeds rival Man City & Liverpool, he has to sell. No ifs, no buts, he has to.
