Leeds fans react on Twitter as Charlie Allen signs professional contract

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to react to the news that concerning Charlie Allen.

Allen has already established himself as one of the many to look out for at Elland Road. , the 17-year-old attracted interest from several clubs in England and Scotland before joining the Whites this year.

He has taken little time to catch the eye. Allen has already made his debut for the club’s under-23s this season. Meanwhile, he has also featured in the Papa John’s Trophy.

And he has now notched up another accolade. that the attacker has signed his first professional contract with Leeds.

It is noted that his current terms are set to run until 2023. But it would be little surprise if many supporters were already backing Allen to earn a new deal long before this contract is set to run out.

Many have taken to social media to express their delight at the news. They believe that Allen is going to be a name that they hear a lot more about over the coming months and years.

There was also a reaction from Allen’s former club. The teenager broke records when he made his first-team debut for Linfield at the age of just 15. And the Premiership side are clearly delighted to see that he is continuing to kick on at his new club.
