Leeds fans react as Whites star tops Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold and Manchester City ace

Leeds star Stuart Dallas is regarded as a fan favourite at Elland Road for his impeccable work rate, while he is seen as a favourite of Marcelo Bielsa’s due to his versatility – and Leeds fans have now applauded him for topping a Premier League ranking.

Dallas, 29, has emerged as one of the club’s most-important players under Bielsa – despite being in his fifth year at Leeds since joining the club from Brentford for £1.3million (). He is just one game shy of clocking up 200 in all competitions.

Had his influence on the side dropped off following promotion to the Premier League, 44-time Northern Ireland international Dallas would have been forgiven as he adapted to the top tier of English football.

But is seems Dallas has stepped up his game. Amazon Prime Sport have posted a stat on Twitter that sees Dallas sit at the top of the Premier League for regaining possession – ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold and £63million () Man City star Rodri.

Dallas had played every minute of the Whites’ Premier League campaign, before coming off the pitch in the 81st minute during the 4-1 loss to Leicester – in which he scored. He is expected to reach 200 Leeds games on Saturday, at Palace.

Leeds supporters have reacted on Twitter to the stat about their left-back, which also sees him sit ahead of the player that scored twice at Elland Road on Monday – in Youri Tielemans. Whites fans have applauded the former Brentford ace.
