Leeds fans react as PSG reportedly willing to let 31-year-old leave club on loan
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly willing to offload Gini Wijnaldum on loan in January with a whole host of Premier League clubs being linked already – and Leeds fans want their club to make an ambitious move for the Dutch ace.
Wijnaldum, 31, joined PSG in the summer having earned iconic status at Liverpool during his five-year stint at Anfield. Winning the Champions League and the Premier League, Wijnaldum clocked up 237 appearances.
The 85-time Netherlands international has struggled to play as regularly since his move to the French capital, though. Playing 20 times, only 10 of those have been from the start. He is a fringe player, under Mauricio Pochettino.
that ahead of the January window, that PSG are willing to let him go on loan. Wijnaldum is said to be disappointed at his lack of action under ex-Tottenham boss Pochettino so far. Plenty have been linked.
Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, Everton, Leicester, Aston Villa and Newcastle have all been offered the chance to sign the ex-Toon midfielder. All have been given the chance to get him on loan.

Should Leeds consider a move to sign PSG star Wijnaldum?
On paper, Leeds need a player like Wijnaldum. Especially after Kalvin Phillips was ruled out with a hamstring injury, and is likely to be missing until 2022 – with a shoulder operation also on the cards.
Adam Forshaw is likely to replace the England midfielder at the base of the midfield, while Phillips is on the sidelines. So, a box-to-box midfielder is required alongside the ex-Boro man – Wijnaldum would be a stunning signing.
However, the issue is that Wijnaldum will want to be playing in Europe. Of the clubs he has been offered, Tottenham, Leicester and West Ham all remain in European competition – and Arsenal are pushing for it next season.
Leeds are some way off that level. Combine that with the fact that Wijnaldum is earning an enormous £300,000 a week at PSG, – Leeds pursuing a move for Wijnaldum is incredibly ambitious.

What do Leeds fans think about Wijnaldum, amid reports he could go?
There are a couple of reasons why Leeds could manage to get Wijnaldum back to the Premier League. The first, is the relationship between Andrea Radrizzani, and PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
He has been linked with investing in Leeds at times, and PSG players linked with Leeds in reaction to that. Another way a move could play into the hands of Leeds, is that a loan deal could see wages split.
Leeds might only have to pay a fraction and if they were told to pay a quarter of Wijnaldum’s wages, then perhaps it could become financially feasable. Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to reports he is available.
