Leeds fans react as Gabby Agbonlahor suggests Manchester United player as signing
Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard as a potential loan signing for Leeds United this summer with the playmaker expected to leave Old Trafford – and Leeds fans have responded.
Lingard, 28, is out of contract at the end of the season at Manchester United. The England international has plummeted down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, failing to play a single league game this season.
Leeds need an attacking midfielder after failing to get Udinese captain Rodrigo De Paul in the summer with the Italians requesting too high a price. Michael Cuisance failed a medical at Elland Road, despite a fee being agreed.
Following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Brighton in which Neal Maupay scored the only goal of the game, Agbonlahor told TalkSPORT that he thinks Lingard would be a “good addition” for Leeds – despite his lack of games.

Lingard, , earns a whopping £75,000 a week at Old Trafford – a figure which would make him one of the club’s highest earners should he move to Elland Road, eclipsing the likes of Rodrigo and Robin Koch.
Leeds supporters discussed the idea of Lingard on Twitter following Agbonlahor’s suggestion and some believe he could boost the Leeds side – even though he clearly has allegiances towards Manchester United.
He's right about needing cover. Lingard has PL experience not sure he's Bielsa's type of player but he can keep the ball can get forward. Man U pay 100% of his wages 😂

We need a decent attacking midfielder and I’m sure bielsa could work wonders on him

I don't think he's wrong though tbf, Jlingz might be a stretch but if someone can get him firing on all cylinders it's Bielsa.

Thought that a while ago but he's from them.

Worth a shot. He was on fire a year or two ago. I’m sure Bielsa could get the best out of him. Suits our style as well as you said.
